The gambling hub of Macau has posted its revenue report for July 2023， showing that the region made MOP 16.66bn ($2.07bn) in gross gaming revenue (GGR).
The figure represents a 10% month-on-month rise against June 2023 and a whopping 4，086% increase on July 2023. Furthermore， for the year so far， Macau’s figures are 236% higher than 2022’s – totalling MOP 96.80.

The MOP 16.66bn figure is the highest reported since the pandemic began， though it is still down on July 2019， which totalled MOP 24.45bn – meaning Macau still has some way to go before a full recovery can be announced.
